Fall Leaves
They start off green, from lime to jade,
Casting patches of cool, delicious shade.
Sanctuaries in the scorching summer heat,
These trees provide a visual treat.
And when the summer turns to f

The trees change too, majestic and tall.
There's glowing yellow, fiery red,
Twittering birds singing in their beds.
And when I feel every autumn day's cold,
I look at the tree, they’re melted gold.
I gaze upon the beautiful sight,
The leaves like fire in the light.
But eventually this fire dims,

from tree limbs.
Soon enough the world is white,
Ice reflecting golden sunlight.
And when this beautiful season returns,
Again will the fire of fall leaves burn.
